Greenboatstuff is a family owned business. We are committed to running an environmentally friendly company. Before we carry any product we ask ourselves how its production, distribution, and ultimate use affects the world around us. Being boaters, we specifically look at what would happen to any of our products if they go over the side and end up a part of the marine ecosystem. We strive to offer only those products that will biodegrade in a reasonable period of time and do no harm as they break down. In every aspect of our business, from product selection to shipping methods and materials we try to minimize the impact we have on Planet Earth. We welcome customer comments and suggestions, both good and bad, as part of our effort to be a better company. As members of One Percent for the Planet we donate 1% of our gross annual sales to environmental causes we believe in, primarily those groups committed to clean, healthy oceans and waterways. We are also members of Green America, a non-profit, membership based group of businesses committed to the following ideals. * Empowering individuals to make purchasing and investing choices that promote social justice and environmental sustainability. * Demanding an end to corporate irresponsibility through collective economic action. * Promoting green and fair trade business principles while building the market for businesses adhering to these principles. * Building sustainable communities in the US and abroad. website - www.greenboatstuff.com email - support@greenboatstuff.com Eric & Angie Allen, Owners 806 W 3rd Ave Spokane, WA 99201 support@greenboatstuff.com Shipping Information: GROUND SHIPPING IN THE USA IS FREE ON ALL ORDERS OF $150 OR MORE! In an effort to keep things simple we have a very basic shipping rate schedule. Please refer to the Shipping Rates section found near the top of the page for specifics. We ship most orders through the US Post Office, however heavier orders often go through FedEx or UPS. Large orders of especially heavy materials may need to be shipped by our freight carriers. While it is rare, occasionally we run into product size restrictions that limit our ability to ship some items internationally. To reduce the impact on the environment we prefer to ship using ground services. The resources used to ship by air are estimated to be over twelve times those required to ship by ground. Of course, if you are in a hurry we can ship air freight, but if not, shipping by ground saves you money and helps the planet. |
