Sold individually. Available in several sizes. Rivets have three main parts, a shaft, a circular metal flange, and a mandrel that is thicker than the shaft and extends above the flange. Blind rivet dimensions show both the diameter of the shaft and and the effective grip length of the installed rivet. Before installation the length of the mandrel typically measures longer than the grip range. In other words, a rivet that shows a size of 3/16" x 3/8" will have a shaft diameter of 3/16" and is meant to hold material that is 3/8" thick. The mandrel will actually measure about 5/8" long, but is compressed to 3/8" when installed. Proper hole size is critical to insure the integrity of the fastened joint. Most marine hardware can be divided into two distinct groups these days. Cheap junk made with little, if any, thought to the impact its production has on the environment or the workers involved - or high quality gear made from materials designed to last, by companies that care. We prefer to carry the latter. Plastic and nylon parts are durable for a while and they satisfy price sensitive shoppers.
